It sure is taking me too long to get accustomed to blogging-sorry. Here is our up date-better late than never. huh? We have already had an eventful summer as you will be able to tell the boys have been playing a lot of baseball-an American boy playing baseball go figure? Sitting at those game in the sun has been okay this year due to our cold spring I hate to complain just enjoying the sunshine. We have had our boat out a couple of times, the kids love the tube, I love to ski, Chris likes wakeboarding, and he does the majority of the driving. It is great being out on the lake. The garden is doing good, it is really not work to us anymore Chris and I love just going out there to talk. The kids don't usually follow us out there because they equate the garden with weeding/work. The chickens have been attacked again, this has been a great lesson for me on being a good neighbor. I must say I am a slow learner but patience is coming and I do forgive quicker each time. The hens were doing their job on our bug population and healthy-we are currently in search for more-no worries? Sometimes in the mornings I will read and write in my journal out on the front porch as i ponder and look at the beauty around I can't help but find myself overcome with gratitude for all that the Lord has given us. Yes, here at 282 south Huntington there is some beauty and yes, event he empty fields have something peaceful about them in the early mornings. I know this is why I love summertime all the beauty-there truly is "beauty all around."
